What we can help you buy on 1688

1688 promotional products wholesale

A promotional order is a manufacturing job, not a purchase, and the difference shows up in the sample stage. Everything expensive that goes wrong here goes wrong because someone skipped it.

The good news is that all of it is decidable before the run starts.

What we check before you pay

Artwork in the form the factory needs

Vector files with outlined fonts, the colour system reference, and the print area marked. A logo pulled off a website will be reproduced exactly as badly as it was supplied.

The print method fits the material

Pad print, screen, laser, embroidery, debossing and UV each suit different surfaces and different run sizes. We pick the method for the product rather than accepting whatever the factory usually does.

Tooling and mould costs are separate

Custom shapes need tooling, and it is a one-off cost that belongs in the quote as its own line. So does who owns the mould afterwards.

Minimum order is per colour and per size

A stated minimum is usually per variant, not per order. We establish the real minimum across your full breakdown before you commit.

Third-party brands and licensed artwork

Putting someone else's logo or a licensed character on a product requires permission, and the border does not accept "it was a gift" as an answer.

The sample is the contract

An approved pre-production sample is what inspection measures against. Without one there is nothing to hold the factory to.

How an order runs

  1. Send artwork and the brief Vector artwork, colour references, quantities by variant, and your deadline. The deadline matters more here than in any other category.
  2. Method and tooling decided We match the branding method to the product and material, and price any tooling as a separate line so you can see it.
  3. Pre-production sample approved A physical sample of the actual product with the actual branding, photographed and shipped to you if you want it in hand. Nothing goes into production before you approve it.
  4. Quote and approval Goods, tooling, branding setup, sampling, our service fee, inspection, consolidation and freight, itemised.
  5. Inspection against the approved sample Sampled units compared to the approved sample — print position, colour, registration — and photographed.
  6. Consolidate and ship Branded goods usually ship as one order from one factory, so the work here is packing and timing against your deadline.
